Eclipse Performing Arts is in its 15th year of business under the direction of Michele’ Brown. We offer classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, acrobatics, rockettes, and contemporary. Eclipse is committed to providing our dancers with the best technical training in Northwest Indiana, and developing lifelong friendships.

Under the guidance of some of my greatest role models, I was able to achieve the honor of becoming an IHSDTA Senior Solo State Champion (2018). The teachers at Eclipse continued to help me grow into a dancer and leader at the collegiate level. I’m blessed to be a 4-year member and 2-year captain of the Purdue Dance Team. Eclipse continues to provide opportunities for me to learn and to thrive, from taking to teaching classes. I’ve been extremely grateful to have been awarded the title of All Big 10 - Second Team for two consecutive years. “I’ve been training at Eclipse Performing Arts since I was seven years old. Now, I’m about to start my freshman year at Purdue University and am incredibly excited to be on the Purdue Dance Team. Eclipse has provided me with outstanding teachers and training that has made me into the dancer and person I am today. My years of training, performing, and competing with Eclipse helped me to become the Indiana High School Dance Team Association Sr. Solo State Champion (2022). The teachers at Eclipse are dedicated, caring, and work very hard to give Eclipse dancers the best training and experience they can. Eclipse has provided me the opportunity to train in a large variety of dance styles, giving me a well-rounded and elite dance education. Beyond training, the studio has given me a strong support system and a family. Eclipse will continue to be the place I come to train during winter and summer breaks. I am blessed to have grown up with such amazing teachers and friends, and look forward to continue dancing at the collegiate level with Purdue Dance Team.”
